Bagua Box Success

In 2024, I attended a crystal class at Everything Just Rocks (EJR) where the teacher combined some Feng Shui with some crystal basics. 

And it got me thinking about how I could increase the prosperity zone in my home.

I found a pretty box, loaded it with all the prosperity crystals I had (plus a few extra I had bought that night) and stashed it in my prosperity corner.

Throughout the next year, I continued to add prosperity crystals to the box.

At some point, the box started to get a little full and about the same time, my intuition gave me the idea to start boxes for each area of my home.

After a quick life review, I decided that my next focus would be on my career.

Between building a passion business for myself and steadily expanding my role in my day job, I was looking for some extra oomph to help round it out.

So I went back to EJR and created my career bowl.

I had some immediate successes with some new business for, and then I got invited to lunch with my boss for a performance review.

Along the course of the conversation, succession planning came up and he casually asked if I’d ever thought long term about eventually taking a higher leadership position in the company.

I was speechless over my salad, fork frozen in mid air.

Call it imposter syndrome, call it fear of success, or maybe even humility, but I had never even considered it.

I was honest with him about it and told him that I would be seriously considering it now.

Now don’t get me wrong, I realize this didn’t just magically happen because of my new career bowl.

I’ve been a loyal, innovative, and strong employee for over 10 years.

But I will say that the career bowl added some energy behind the actions that I’d been taking lately.

There’s a power that comes from aligning with the Universe and then taking action from that point.

It’s like adding rocket fuel to a fire that’s already burning.

It was burning before, there was already something going, but this speeds up the action ten-fold.

I’ve had so much success with two areas of prosperity and career, that I realized I needed to be doing it for all of them!

After another quick life review, two specific zones in mind - Travel & Family.

Luckily, I’m an avid box/container collector and I decided to see what I had hiding away in my closet.

I found a beautiful box that had one crystal in it hiding at the bottom of my closet.

But as I pulled out the box, my gut said it didn’t match either of the two new zones I was looking to build.

So of course, I checked in with my intuition to see what was going on.

I closed my eyes, held the new box in my hands, and after a few quiet breaths, my intuition showed me all my prosperity crystals in this new box.

Of course! Like a hermit crab outgrowing its old shell, my prosperity crystals were growing into a new box.

I emptied out the old box, cleansed everything with a sound bowl and Reiki, and then loaded all the prosperity crystals into their new home.

Not only did everything fit, but expanding my prosperity bowl symbolically helped me to expand the amount of wealth I could hold in my life.

I immediately felt an energetic shift.

What had started as an exercise in adding power to a different area of my life, also allowed the expansion of my prosperity.

My old prosperity box then became my family box.

I went through my crystal collection and started to pull out everything that reminded me of family, blood and chosen.

I also started a list of potential crystals that I could be on the lookout for.

For my travel zone, I was able to find one online that I really liked and order it.

One of the things I love about these Bagua Boxes is that it’s a “set it and forget it” approach to magic.

It still requires you to take aligned action, and I continued to do the things that my intuition called me to do.

But things happen so much faster and easier when you stack the deck like this.

The reason the prosperity box took a year to really take off is because I was still working through my lack and scarcity issues around money.

The more I worked through my thoughts, the quicker and easier things worked.

The reason the career box worked so quickly (literally days) is because I had way fewer blocks around it already.

I’ve only had the Family & Travel boxes set for a little while and I’m excited to see how the energy shifts around each one.

I highly recommend taking the time to create a Bagua Box of your own.

Find a bagua map online and decide which area you could use a little extra help in.

Then find a box or a bowl that helps to amplify those intentions.

I’ve found mine at thrift stores, online, and even at Ross!

Take a visit your local metaphysical shop and buy a few crystals that also match that zone.

Clear and charge everything and let it do the work.

I promise, you can get everything started for under $20. That’s how I did it.

Then build on it and continue to let it grow.
