Moldavite & Me

I’ve always had a curiosity for moldavite.

One of my issues with it was how much money it costs.

I’m more than willing to spend money on something I find valuable, but for the longest time I didn’t see the value in it.

Let alone I was dealing with some issues of scarcity around money.

The other thing I was worried about was finding a real piece of it.

There are so many fakes online and apparently it can be pretty easily imitated with glass.

So when my trusted crystal shop listed some for sale, I had to stop by.

My money mindset had been improving and I had some extra cash, so I was ready on all levels.

I’d heard the warnings, both online and in the shop.

Moldavite can really f*ck up your life. (Or so the story goes…)

Luckily, I’d role models in my life who swear by the positive aspects of moldavite.

Even my first interaction with it was from a person who was doing very well with it and treated it like any other crystal.

He treated it with respect and honor and care. He knew its power and treated it that way.

But this was how he treated pretty much everything from the earth.

He treated his moldavite a little more protectively (which I think was really just because it was expensive), but overall it was handled the same way he handled his quartz.

This set a positive experience first in my head, before I started seeing all the posts online of people crying from it “ruining” their lives.

So back to the crystal shop, the owner reminded me of the negative and the positive.

She told me a story of her friend that had worked with crystals her entire life and took home a piece of moldavite.

That same day, someone totaled her car, she got laid off from work, and she caught her boyfriend cheating on her.

Now keep in mind, she was unhappy in her relationship, the car was on its last leg, and she hated her job.

So it’s not like the moldavite did something magical she didn’t want. But it was definitely a catalyst for the events.

(Sidenote, she gave up the moldavite because she didn’t like that energy. And I’m told that she enjoyed using public transport, got a new job, and is happily single.)

On the flipside, the owner also told me about a psychic she knew that carries around 4 large pieces of moldavite on a necklace.

The total necklace is worth over $4,000!

This psychic is extremely lucky, abundant, and gifted.

The moldavite helps to augment his abilities and protect him from unwanted energy.

I checked in with my intuition and realized I was ready for my first piece of moldavite.

I was already making positive changes in my life all around.

I was in a healthy relationship with my partner, I’d been working on my money mindset, and I loved my life.

(Sure I wasn’t super satisfied with my career, but I was making steps to improve it.)

I was a little intimidated at first, and kept my moldavite in the trunk while I drove home.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, and although I tend to always look on the brightside, I didn’t want to end up in a car accident from road rage or something.

I got home…

I meditated with my new moldavite…

And it was super chill.

I was expecting some kind of sugar-induced hyper child energy, and it was nothing like that.

It was nice and cool and calming.

Definitely not what I expected from a crystal with so much hype surrounding it.

And then a few things went caddywompus at work, but nothing that wasn’t particularly in my control.

A word of warning from my moldavite story - just like every human is different, every stone is different. Not just the type of crystal, but the individual pieces themselves.

That’s why listening to your intuition when picking one is so important.

You want to select one that matches with your vibe and is going to help you.

Perhaps if I had gone with a different moldavite piece, I would have had a different experience.

Or maybe the way my energy interacts with the crystal causes a calmer vibration.

Whatever the case, trust your intuition (as always).

Even while debating whether or not you’re “ready” for a piece of moldavite - trust your intuition.

Ever since then, I’ve experimented on when and where to wear my moldavite piece.

I tried it in a few places that I wanted an extra boost of energy, and it was honestly too much energy for me.

Of course, those were also places with lots of other people, networking, and social events.

I didn’t like those because the energy was too intense.

I then tried it while giving tarot readings and wow it was great.

I had more energy for each reading and was really dialed in with my intuition.

The flow was unbelievable.

Since then, I remember to wear it when I’m giving lots of readings, whether online or in person.

I also love to meditate with it at home.

The chill vibe with focused energy is so helpful, especially after a long day when I want to get some stuff done for my business.

All this has come to the forefront again because that same crystal shop offered a moldavite class. With tips for how to use it and work with it.

I jumped on that class and had a great experience with not only the moldavite, but the other people that took the class with me!

If you’re interested in getting your first piece of moldavite, check in with your intuition first.

If your guides say yes, then head to your local crystal shop and see if they have any of the real stuff. (Shout out to Everything Just Rocks in Tempe, AZ)

I would suggest caution when buying online. There’s no easy way for you to tell if it’s real or not.

Even if your local shop doesn’t carry it, they can usually point you to a reputable reseller that can find the real thing.

Proceed with caution and let me know if you decide to purchase some.

And also where you get it, you know I love a good local crystal shop!
