30 Days of Reiki
Commit to 30 days of Reiki to improve your energy and intuition
TL;DR: Get your 30-Day Reiki workbook here and prioritize your Reiki practice!
After each Reiki attunement class, I share a challenge with each student.
Commit to 30 days of Reiki.
Everyone nods their heads and says they’ll do it (or at least they’ll try).
But when I see them at the next class, only a few of them really did it!
One of my student’s finally spoke up and said -
“I have no idea what to actually do for 30 days. I go in with the best intentions and then skip it because I don’t know what I should be doing.”
For a 1/3 such as myself (see HD link), I had never even thought of that.
When I was attuned, I found a few links online and then started trying new things.
(In all fairness, I’d also been a professional psychic for a while, so I was used to a lot of the “weird” things”. It all seemed so natural.)
I’d been releasing my students into the wild without a game plan. 😳
I hadn’t used one and I assumed no one else needed one either.
Why 30 Days?
Practice!
The biggest reason to start off your Reiki journey with 30 days of solid practice is because it builds up your Reiki muscles.
The more you practice, the stronger you get, and the easier it is to connect and feel the flow.
You get to know your own energy and you feel more confident.
Integration
I’ve read a few places that the attunement takes 28 days to fully integrate into your energy system.
During that integration, the Reiki moves from chakra to chakra, every four days.
At the end of the full cycle, Reiki has fully integrated into your energy body.
Is doing self Reiki mandatory for the integration?
No. It will happen either way.
But a continued Reiki practice makes the integration go so much smoother.
Who?
I challenge every freshly attuned student of Reiki to start with 30 days of Reiki, but really this challenge is for everyone!
A habit can be formed in as little as 18 days.
So when you commit to Reiki for 30, you have a really great chance of making it a permanent part of your daily ritual.
You can start this as part of a New Year’s resolution, a new health regimen, or just because you’re feeling the need for some extra Reiki in your life.
The How
The easiest way to get started?
Grab your copy of the 30-Day Reiki guidebook and jump right in.
The workbook has daily practice ideas and journal prompts to keep you on track.
Otherwise, it’s a create-your-own-adventure! 🗺
I recommend a little bit of planning with a good, better, best set of options.
First determine what the minimum activity you can commit to is.
When first starting, it might only be 5 minutes of meditation and Reiki a day, and that’s great!
A little bit of Reiki is better than no Reiki at all.
Look at your schedule for the next 30 days and put that 5 minutes of Reiki into your calendar.
It doesn’t matter if it’s in the morning when you first wake up, in the shower, in your car, or right before you go to sleep. Just pick a time you can commit to.
This is your “good” level of commitment.
Next figure out what “better” looks like.
When I started, I could commit to a full 45 minute meditation on Saturday and Sunday where I could spend 5 minutes sending Reiki to each chakra.
I even scheduled those into my calendar so that my partner would know that I was unavailable during those times when we were planning our weekends.
Then figure out what “best” is for you.
I strongly suggest that you put all three types on your calendar so you don’t forget.
The great part is that any day, you can upgrade or downgrade your practice.
If I woke up early on a Monday and had extra time for meditation, I upgraded to my “better” option.
If I overslept on a busy Saturday, I could downgrade to my “good” level and still know that I was getting my Reiki practice in.
The key is to make all levels fully available to you so that you’re comfortable with any of them.
Results
If you’re not already practicing Reiki every day, then 30 days of Reiki will kickstart your practice.
At the end, you’ll look back and wonder how you could have gone so long without doing it every day!
In 30 days, you will have made a new habit of working with Reiki and see it improve every area of your life.
In fact, you’ll probably notice a shift on day one.
It usually happens in a subtle way that you might not notice at first.
You make time for a quick Reiki boost in the morning, and then suddenly rush hour traffic doesn’t seem as hectic as it usually is.
You make time for a “better” practice on Sunday and the entire family just gets along easier.
And if you skip a day (whether after attunement or just during the course of your personal challenge), that’s ok!
Especially at the beginning, you might skip it purely by accident.
The important thing is to get back up on the horse and pick up your practice right where you left off.
