Reiki For... Your Vision Board

Using Reiki to help manifest your goals for the year.

You already know that if I’m going to do something, I’m going to Reiki it.

It’s a practice for myself to strengthen my energy and my connection to Reiki.

And now I have to admit something… (Try not to clutch your pearls.)

Up until this year, I had never ever done a physical Vision Board.

Despite hearing nothing but good things, I’d never actually made one.

I’ve seen all the posts, I’ve seen all the magazines, but never thought it was for me.

This year, I decided to change that.

One of my favorite crystal shops was offering a Vision Board class to set everyone up for success in 2025.

(Everything Just Rocks in Tempe, AZ if you’re wondering)

So I grabbed my bestie and we decided to spend our Sunday Funday at the crystal shop.

We signed up for the class and I was not disappointed.

The teacher/owner (Athena) has been collecting magazines for the last 15 years, so she had a lot of material to choose from.

(At one point one of the other workshoppers said, “This car looks a little older… Oh! It’s from the 90’s!”)

Rather than being a strictly classroom experience, it was go at your own pace.

Browse some magazines, cut a few pictures out, browse some more.

We spent about 2 hours just going through looking for pictures that represented our goals for 2025.

There were, of course, some rules as we were going through the process.

Athena suggested that we keep our focus to 2-3 main goals to accomplish so that we keep our energy focused and allow the Universe to deliver it easily.

I made some notes, picked my top two, and then got to searching.

One of the cool parts was that Athena went around the class, asked a few questions about our goals, and then handpicked crystals for each of us.

Now you might be asking, “How did Preston bring Reiki into this whole process?”

Reiki On

I started the whole thing by going “Reiki On”.

I wanted to infuse the entire Vision Board process with Reiki energy for the Highest Good of All.

I took a few moments to connect with Reiki and bring that into the activity.

Then I got to crafting, cutting, arranging, and gluing.

Reiki Charging

As I glued each picture down, I took a moment to infuse each part with Reiki.

Every picture, every setting, every piece, got a big hit of Reiki as it got attached to the board.

Even the poster board got some Reiki before I started getting everything on it.

The crystals (of course) also got some Reiki charging.

Reiki Sealing

When the board was all finished, I used Reiki to seal in all the good energy and the intention.

I physically drew all the symbols in the air above the poster board and visualized them sinking into the entire Vision Board.

For this, I specifically used all 4 Usui symbols plus the Midas Star.

Daily Reiki Recharge

At least once a day, my Vision Board gets a hit of Reiki.

I wanted to keep it somewhere visible, so I posted it on the wall in my bedroom.

Each morning, I send Reiki to it as I’m getting up and making my bed.

Each night, I send it Reiki as I’m getting into bed.

The symbols change depending on how I’m feeling that day and how my intuition guides me.

Sometimes it’s just one, and sometimes it’s all five.

I also decided to keep the crystals in my Reiki Box.

This way, the crystals that are connected to the board, always get a little extra Reiki.

Your Vision Board

If you’ve never made a vision board before, I now highly recommend it.

The process was fun, powerful, and enlightening.

It allowed me to really focus on the things I desire and to get a visual for them.

It helps to solidify what’s going on in your brain and bring it into reality.

If you already do vision boards, congratulations, you’re ahead of the curve!

When you make your next one, use some Reiki to really power it up.

And if you’ve already made yours for the year, start charging it with Reiki now.

The power is finding ways that work for you and making it your own.

If there are no places around you offering a class or workshop, then do it on your own!

  1. Grab your materials

    • Poster board, glue, scissors, magazines/pictures, creativity!

  2. Set the environment

    • Candles, incense, good friends, nature, fun!

  3. Go “Reiki On”

  4. Pick 2-3 things that you would like to manifest over the next year

    • It’s totally normal for those things to evolve as you create your vision board. Mine did!

  5. Browse, rip, cut, and craft

    • Start by pulling out pages or cutting out pictures that you like and represent your vision.

    • It doesn’t have to be perfect, this is just the first round

  6. Refine

    • Sort through the first round and start to refine your vision. Cut the tears off the edges and whittle down the actual images you want to use.

  7. Rough Draft

    • Lay all the images out and start to organize them into their categories.

    • Try to keep each set of goals near each other, it can be in clusters or splitting the board into even sections.

    • Hint: Snap a pic of your draft so that you remember where all the pictures go when you get to the next step!

  8. Glue it down

    • Glue all the pictures down in their spots.

    • I had a few last minute changes when I got to the actual gluing part, so trust your intuition and roll with it.

  9. Charge it!

    • Use any and all symbols that you’re attuned to and guided to use to charge up the vision board.

  10. Post it

    • Hang it up somewhere that you’ll see it every day and remember your vision for the next year.

  11. Bonus: Crystals

    • If you’re doing this at home, you might not have the crystals to help, so as a final step, visit your local crystal shop and go find the small pocket crystals. These usually range from $1-$3 each.

    • Look through the descriptions and select a few who’s energy supports your vision. Ask for help if you’re not sure.

    • My board came with 13 crystals, my friend’s had 16. Get as many or as little as you want.

Then you’re set!

Review and charge it daily to keep the energy fresh.

I’m incredibly proud of mine and how creative I felt while making it.

Every time I look at it, I smile and know that it’s coming my way.
